Using spiral vegetable cutter to make zoodles
Oven Baked Chicken Parmesan Recipe
30 - 40 min
8 servings
You will need:
- 2 jars Palisade Peach Shack Roasted Garlic Pasta Sauce
- 2 lb ground turkey
- 6 zucchini
- 1tbsp Pepper
- 1tbsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Prep Instructions
Wash zucchini. Using a spiral vegetable cutter cut zucchini into noodle-like strands. Place zoodles into a gallon size bag and keep refrigerated.
Heat a large drizzle of olive oil in a large, preferably nonstick, pan over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, 5-7 minutes. Add both jars of Roasted Garlic Pasta Sauce to the ground turkey and bring to a boil. Add 1/4 cup parmesan cheese to the meat sauce, stir until fully melted. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-5 more minutes.
Let meat sauce cool completely and store in a large container. Keep refrigerated.
Cooking Instructions
Portion 1/8 of the zoodles into a bowl. Add a 1/2 teaspoon of water to the zucchini and cook in the microwave for 1 min.
Place 1/4 cup of meat sauce onto zoodles. Dampen a paper towel and place on top of bowl. Cook in the microwave for 2-3 minutes.
Add a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top, and it's ready to eat.
It's as simple as that!
